Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is the treatment of disorders of the human body by the manipulation of soft tissue (muscles, tendons) performed by a licensed Massage Therapist. LifeWorks Massage Therapists are all licenced by the State Medical Board of Ohio and have numerous years of experience. For specific certifications and specialties please see below.
What are the benefits of Massage Therapy?

Massage is not recommended for those with uncontrolled high blood pressure, Thrombosis, Phlebitis, Kidney disease and massage should also be avoided if you have a fever or any type of active infection.

HydroMassage
At LifeWorks we also offer our members the HydroMassage Bed. While nothing can replace the human touch, the HydroMassage Bed is a great way to relax a few minutes or to compliment a Massage Therapy session.
The HydroMassage bed is a heated bed that utilizes a water propulsion system to provide a relaxing massage.
The user controls all of the settings and has the option of listening to relaxing music. The HydroMassage Bed is only $30/year for our members and each session is for 12 minutes. Members have unlimited access first come first serve basis.

Sally Grega L.M.T., LifeWorks Lead Therapist
Sally leads the team of Massage Therapist and complimentary services at LifeWorks. She has over 14 years experience. She believes in a holistic approach to healing the mind/body connection with compassion, technique and education. Her advanced training includes: Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Muscle Energy Technique, and Reflexology. Currently Sally is not accepting new clients. |

Alfredo Duenas, BA, L.M.T., NCTMB
Alfredo has been a licensed and nationally certified Massage Therapists since 1999. He also has come full circle and has been teaching Massage Therapy at his alma mater, Ohio College of Massotherapy for the last six years. Alfredo specializes in Sports Massage and is certified in the Myofascial Release Massage. Other massage treatments he provides include LaStone Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage Therapy and Precision Neuromuscular Therapy. |

Angel Velotta, L.M.T., Muscle Release Therapy, MRTh® Practitioner
Angel has been licensed to practice massage since 2003. As a therapist, she strives to improve the quality of life for her clients by reducing their pain. In addition to being a licensed massage therapist, Angel is certified in Muscle Release Therapy, MRTh® and has advanced training in postural balancing, Myofascial Release, and Crainosacral Therapy. She is skilled at assessing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. |

Annette Ryan, L.M.T.
A teacher of Massage Therapy (CIMM) since 2001 as well as a practicing Massage Therapist, Annette specializes in Oncology Massage. Oncology Massage will help ease the journey and provide support in the healing process. Sessions are indivualized. Annette enjoys working with everyone although her focus and continued learning is with cancer patients. Annette is also a Neuromuscular Therapist and a Reiki Practitioner. |

Cindy has been licensed to practice massage since 2007. She is believes in the therapeutic benefits of massage as they relate to the whole person. Her goal is to meet clients’ needs and contribute to individual wellness. In addition to being a Licensed Massage Therapist, Cindy has additional training and certification in CranioSacral Therapy and Chakra Balancing. |

Karen has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2007. Her goal is to improve the quality of people’s lives through massage therapy. She is certified in Sports Massage. Karen also has completed additional training in Sports Massage, Swe-Thai Massage, Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Personal Training, and is a Reiki practitioner. |
